If designer bricks can work, why can’t stationary?
No, I’m not kidding. Think about it, people are willing to spend relatively more money on cute stationary from Asian countries. Why would they not want to spend even more money on a branded designer notebook? Are brands not supposed to be a status symbol? Who uses the most stationary? Students of course, they also happen to be the only human beings who do not buy their own stuff.
I really hope people do not take this seriously though. 👀
the problems
I spent around a month in late 2021 chasing publishers, printing press owners, and suppliers. Did not end up starting a designer brand, did learn a lot though. Like how people are just eager to take all the money you are interested in offering. And how those same people will instantly lower their rates to a fraction of what they initially asked for the moment you start walking away.
While no bridges were burnt during this endeavor, thousands of rupees did go down the drain. Not much in the long run but I wish I had worked more on ehtisaab during that time.
